You may want to place Shortcuts to your favorite applications or frequently used folders in a prominent place on the Windows desktop. Then you won't have to wade through multiple menus every time you want to use the applications.
Windows Desktop Folder
To place a new Shortcut on your Windows desktop:
If you have installed Norton Navigator, click the Hint icon below.
Click here
to open the Create Shortcut dialog box.
Click Browse.
The Browse dialog box appears.
Select the application for which you want to create a Shortcut and click Open.
Click Next.
The Select a Title for the Program dialog box appears.
Type a descriptive name for your new Shortcut and Click Next.
The Select an Icon dialog box appears.
Select an icon and Click Finish.
The Shortcut is created on the desktop.
If you are using Norton Navigator custom desktops, the desktop folder is:
"C:\Program Files\Norton Navigator\Desktops\Norton Navigator Desktop\Custom\DesktopName"
Replace CustomDesktopName with the actual name of your custom desktop.
The full name is entered on one line, surrounded by double quotes. Enter this name in the Windows Desktop Folder text box.
